Cley Windmill (Visit Holiday Cottage website)
Cley Windmill dates from the 18th Century and is a well known landmark on the North Norfolk Coast. The old stables and boathouses are now stylish self-catering retreats for the independent holiday makers.
The original dovecote has been converted into a snug flint-walled cottage. It has a living area on the ground floor, with open plan kitchen, a master bedroom (twin or king size double bed) and bathroom. Stairs lead to a mezzanine gallery where there is a double bed under a vaulted wooden ceiling. The Dovecote has views of the Mill and is adjacent to the Mill's walled garden.
The self catering outhouses are equipped with cooker, microwave, fridge, television and electric heaters. China, cutlery and cooking utensils are provided and the beds have duvets. Linen and towels are inclusive in the rental price.
A long flint-walled open-plan building with a vaulted wood panelled ceiling. Long House has a king size double bed and three windows with good views over the river Glaven and the marshes.
There is a self-contained open-plan sitting room / bedroom with fitted kitchen and ensuite bathroom.
