The Stable Holiday cottage is located to the rear of the owners house in the Cotswold village of Marshfield, imaginatively created from a stable and loft to provide high quality accommodation, whilst retaining touches of the original character. The cottage is peaceful and quiet and holiday makers can relax in the owner’s lovely half acre garden, summerhouse and paddock. The garden is open one weekend a year under the NGS garden scheme and is in the yellow book of gardens
Marshfield makes a good base to explore the southern Cotswold hills, the beautiful City of Bath with its Roman Baths and sweeping regency terraces, is just 8 miles away. Or perhaps a day at the races at Bath Race Course. There are numerous National Trust Properties in the area , Doddington, Lacock, Stonehendge, Avebury, to name a few.
